- Develop and implement provider contracting strategies for tertiary programs, professional and ancillary services, and major payer relationships.
- Utilize financial and analytical expertise to drive successful outcomes.
- Support the development of our physician network and joint ventures, providing strategic planning and payer contracting expertise.
- Collaborate with peer executives, service line directors, and finance teams to prepare comprehensive provider engagement plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Ensure the achievement of financial goals set for contracting and negotiations.
- Contribute to the business unit's operational planning and annual strategy formulation.
- Maintain robust working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Lead and contribute to corporate-sponsored project teams to enhance continuity and performance across the system-wide care continuum.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President, Provider Engagement.
What we are looking for
- Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 20 years of executive-level operations experience in healthcare administration, with a demonstrated track record of progressive responsibility.
- Expertise in strategic planning and budget management at an executive level.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership qualities and team-building skills.
- System-wide thinking with a commitment to the values and mission of Nomi.
- Proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills, adept in both written and verbal communication.
- Proven experience in market strategy development, network development, and contracting within healthcare settings such as Medical Groups, IPAs, and Hospitals.
- Background in business development, product development and implementation, affordability initiatives, value-based contracting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong existing relationships with providers and a history of successful provider relationship management.
