About Nodle

Nodle is a smartphone-based decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) that drives critical applications, such as authenticating media content, locating assets, or proving location. Our mobile apps provide users with a unique experience, enabling them to transform their smartphones into nodes to establish a digital trust network for social good. We currently have three distinct apps available on two platforms (iOS and Android): the Nodle App and Hotspot App, both aimed at expanding the decentralized Nodle Network and earning NODL tokens in return and the Click App, designed to combat misinformation by capturing authentic content and pushing its fingerprint on the blockchain.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to guarantee the reliability, functionality, and usability of our three mobile apps (Click, Nodle, and Nodle Hotspot) with special attention to their seamless integration with the mobile web.

You will be conducting comprehensive testing of mobile apps across multiple devices, OS, and browsers to ensure seamless integration with the mobile web. You will be developing and maintaining detailed test cases and checklists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing smoke testing pre-release, analyzing reported issues, performing app performance tests, and contributing to planning and design reviews. Additionally, assistance in testing other company web applications to ensure overall quality and consistency is required.

We will be excited if you have a track record of working collaboratively with developers to build consistent and efficient tests, delivering them on time. It’s a bonus if you have prior experience working on Web3 projects and/or a Web3 wallet and prior experience working for a fast-moving startup.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of the mobile apps across various devices, operating systems, and browsers to ensure compatibility and consistency with the mobile web integration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and checklists for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and prepare test cases and checklists.
• Perform smoke testing to verify the stability of existing functionalities after updates or changes before releasing apps to the App Store/Google Play Market.
• Analyze reported issues and create tickets in the ticketing system, providing detailed bug reports with clear steps to reproduce and relevant information for resolution.
• Conduct app performance and battery usage testing to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Participate in planning sessions and design reviews to provide input on testability, usability, and quality aspects.
• Assist in testing other company web applications to ensure overall quality and consistency across platforms.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role, in software development and QA
• Proficiency in utilizing conventional tools such as ADB, Instruments, or similar software
• Proficiency in working with Android Studio and Xcode
• Proficiency in working with Firebase and TestFlight
• Proficiency in using Postman or similar for API testing
• Familiarity with Chuker or similar
• Familiarity with nRF Connect would be preferred
• knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency would be preferred
