The main purpose of your role:
- Recruitment, managing & training of sales forces (in- and outside sales)
- Manages and aligns customer's expectations
- Providing solutions for the accounts
- Actively plans and executes sales strategy
- Proactively identifies new opportunities
- Regularly conducts structured review meetings
- Collects relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ
- Regular visits of existing and potential new customers
- Generate cross and upsell opportunities in all services of Nippon Express (Air/ocean/Rail/Logistics/Road)
- Strong collaboration with the other regional sales communities and the Branch Managers
- Organize customer review meetings
- Develop, build and nurture long term partnerships with the accounts, translating our global capabilities to customer value, for maintaining and continually expanding account share penetration
- Support successful business handover between Sales and Operations
- Provide timely and proper RFQ Post Mortem analysis to Tender Management and relevant additional stakeholders involved in the RFQ
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship with diploma for global forwarding or similar qualification
- Sales skills (Indoor / Outdoor) & analytical mindset
- +5 years experience in Air-, Ocean, Rail and Logistics
- Effective communicator to respond to questions from client in a timely manner
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking and in writing)
- Teamwork & Creativity
- Problem-Solving Mindset
