Newsela is hiring a Contract PHP Website Developer to refine work into iterative deliverables and guide sprint goals. You will collaborate across Engineering, Product Management, and Design to translate ambiguous goals into clearly defined tasks and quality-ready code.
You bring 7+ years of PHP/MySQL web development, strong Wordpress expertise, and experience with REST APIs. Laravel and AWS are a plus, with a focus on scalable backend systems and modern web patterns.
