Summary:
We need a senior level manual tester who will communicate with managers and be highly productive.Focus area will be the client's Connected Medicine space.
Responsibilities:
- Work will include exploratory as well as scripted testing, working with the client's subject matter experts and product owners for guidance
- Need to provide quick feedback to ensure rapid escalation and updating to avoid delays to deployment timeline
- Understanding of pharma terminology will be very beneficial to ensure communication is quick and well understood
- Develop and execute test cases and scripts based on business and system requirements and design documentation
- Identify, record, and track defects to resolution
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, smoke testing, and stress testing as needed
- Document and communicate test results and provide feedback to IT Team and business stakeholders as needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently while resourcefully seeking answers and removing obstacles
- Remains accountable and consistently meets deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and be detail oriented
- Ability to creatively solve problems and display strong critical thinking skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred
- Operates with a sense of urgency and uses sound judgement to escalate issues or develops options to work around roadblocks vs. waiting for direction
- Candidate needs to have very strong interpersonal skills. They need to be energetic, upbeat, a good listener, confident, approachable and flexible.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Pharma experience is a plus
- Regulated industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree
