About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Manager to join the FP&A team. This role will manage all aspects of the top-line (ARR, Bookings, and Revenue). Responsibilities will include preparing monthly financial reporting, innovating on existing financial models, managing the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, making suggestions to improve upon our current Adaptive build, and providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting. This position will be a key resource in identifying opportunities and working through challenges to help the business evolve and grow. It is a unique and interesting opportunity to define best practice processes and to make your mark on a fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ASC 606 and ARR, building and delivering accurate and timely financial data/models, articulate business impact beyond numbers, critical thinking, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own all ARR and Retention Rate reporting including the preparation of the data to monthly reporting and deep diving anomalies to explain variances and trending
  • Manage the migration of ARR reporting and facilitate in drafting ARR Dashboards in PowerBI
  • Prepare and deliver insightful commentary on monthly financial reporting and board presentations
  • Own monthly Bookings and Revenue reporting and forecasting under ASC 606 software revenue recognition guidelines
  • Partner with Sales Ops to ensure Bookings and Renewals alignment
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses as needed to help support business decisions
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators and activities that facilitate top-line growth
  • Support the company’s M&A activities with integration into existing ARR reporting process, financial modeling, and ownership of top-line reporting after close
  • Propose enhancements to the Finance team’s Adaptive Planning instance to maximize utilization of and efficiencies from the system
  • Change agent to integrate, streamline and continuously improve the FP&A process and provide visibilities and insights to company financial results

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with Adaptive, Netsuite, Salesforce and PowerBI is a plus
  • Highly adaptable and independent thinker
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and ability to drive process improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity
