Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a QA Engineer to architect and execute automation solutions for a Fortune 500 product company. This role involves ensuring quality and performance across complex, distributed systems by partnering with cross-functional engineering teams and leveraging modern cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and enhance automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Define and implement end-to-end test strategies aligned with enterprise software development cycles
- Lead integration, regression, and system validation for API-driven and web-based platforms
- Develop robust test automation using Python and Pytest in CI/CD environments
- Administer Jenkins pipelines for continuous quality assurance in deployment workflows
- Manage cloud-based QA infrastructure using AWS services
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution on critical quality issues
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficient in designing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Strong command of Python with automation experience using Pytest
- Demonstrated expertise in Jenkins pipeline management and CI/CD principles
- Hands-on experience with AWS for QA environment provisioning and test execution
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience validating .NET-based enterprise applications
- Familiarity with API testing tools and contract-based testing strategies
- ISTQB or AWS certifications are beneficial
Certifications:
- ISTQB or AWS certifications are a plus
