Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Oracle Fusion Technical Lead to own technical architecture, engineering delivery, and platform governance across the Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem. This role is accountable for scalable design, extensibility, integrations, automation, reporting enablement, AI adoption, and remediation of technical debt. You will assess the current Fusion landscape, identify design gaps and underutilized capabilities, define improvement roadmaps, and lead hands-on implementation while ensuring upgrade readiness, performance, and audit compliance. In addition to direct technical contribution, you will lead the engineering team, enforce code and configuration governance, and drive predictable, high-quality delivery across Fusion and related integrations. This role partners closely with the Group Product Manager and domain Product Managers. Product owns the “what,” while the Technical Lead owns the “how” and engineering integrity. If you are a hands-on Oracle Fusion leader who can set architectural direction, scale engineering capability, and build with discipline while delivering measurable business impact - we’d love to connect.

Primary responsibilities

  • Own domain-level Oracle Fusion technical architecture across Finance, SCM, and Procurement modules, including configuration standards, extension strategy, and integration governance.

  • Define and enforce design standards, guardrails, and best practices

  • Assess platform health, identify technical debt, and drive remediation plans

  • Design and implement extensions, workflows, security models, and master data governance

  • Eliminate fragile or unsupported customizations.

  • Lead quarterly Fusion upgrades, impact analysis, and regression readiness

  • Embed native Oracle AI capabilities and design custom AI agents integrated with Fusion and OCI services.

  • Enable measurable efficiency gains through intelligent workflows and automation.

  • Lead integration design and data mapping for integrations in and out of Oracle Fusion using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, middleware and business events.

  • Close reporting gaps and enable advanced analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion data models

  • Directly manage Integration Engineers and AI/Automation Engineers.

  • Establish code/configuration review governance and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8-12+ years of Oracle ERP experience with 4+ years hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud expertise.

  • Deep expertise in Fusion architecture, extensions, workflows, security model, integrations, and reporting

  • Proven experience in implementing workflows and logic using BPM, Application Composer (Groovy), Flexfields, and Redwood UI.

  • Experience building extensions with APEX and/or Visual Builder backed by Autonomous Database.

  • Strong experience with OIC, APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.

  • Strong understanding of Fusion data structures for analytics and downstream reporting

  • Proven ability to identify and remediate technical debt in enterprise ERP environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to enable AI-driven workflows within enterprise platforms.

  • Experience operating in SOX-regulated or controlled environments.
