Role Overview

We are seeking an Enterprise AI and automation Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of AI-driven and automation-enabled solutions across Sales and Service. This role requires expertise in Salesforce Agentforce AI, Generative AI (GPT models), and vector database technologies (including AWS Bedrock and Amazon Aurora/pgvector).

You will partner with Sales, Service, IT, and executive leadership to define the AI roadmap, integrate Salesforce with enterprise AI services, and deliver intelligent, context-aware automations that improve both employee productivity and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

AI Automation Strategy

  • Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy for Sales and Service with Agentforce AI as a core enabler.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases such as AI-powered account summaries, case deflection, pipeline forecasting, and knowledge mining.
  • Build ROI models and present AI adoption strategies to leadership.

Solution Architecture

  • Architect solutions that combine Salesforce (Agentforce AI, Copilot, Einstein) with GPT-based LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI).
  • Design and deploy RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using AWS vector database services (Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Amazon Aurora pgvector, OpenSearch vector search).
  • Integrate Salesforce with ERP, CTMS, HRIS, and call center platforms for end-to-end automation.

Automation Orchestration

  • Develop multi-agent automation workflows that log activities, generate account insights, and orchestrate Sales Service operations.
  • Leverage MuleSoft, UiPath, or AWS Step Functions for cross-platform orchestration.
  • Establish standards for prompt libraries, embeddings, and reusable automation components.

Governance Compliance

  • Ensure all AI workflows (Salesforce + GPT + AWS) meet RBAC, ITGC, HIPAA/GDPR requirements.
  • Define guardrails, observability, and fallback strategies for AI agents.
  • Partner with InfoSec, Legal, and Compliance teams to enforce responsible AI.

Collaboration Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales Ops, Service Ops, and IT executives.
  • Mentor teams of Salesforce admins, AI engineers, and data architects.
  • Manage vendor partnerships with Salesforce, AWS, and AI/automation providers.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in enterprise architecture, AI/automation, or CRM solution leadership roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Agentforce AI, Copilot, and Einstein.
  • Experience with GPT/LLM solutions (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or Azure OpenAI).
  • Strong knowledge of vector databases including AWS Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Amazon Aurora pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or MongoDB Atlas Vector Search.
  • Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with AI pipelines and enterprise automation tools.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (AI Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, CTA).
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Specialty).
  • Experience with AWS SageMaker, Step Functions, and Lambda for orchestration.
  • Familiarity with call center solutions (Twilio, Calabrio, Five9).
  • Industry experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or SaaS.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Adoption and ROI of Agentforce AI + GPT-powered workflows.
  • Faster case resolution rates and sales forecasting accuracy.
  • % of Sales/Service processes automated end-to-end.
  • Compliance posture (zero audit exceptions).
  • Business adoption of vector database–powered AI assistants.
