We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to help with our effort on building integrations, services, and testing infrastructure to power the funding of every Affirm loan.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience in designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale technologies like Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
- Familiarity with Spark is a plus
- Ability to define a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple, and extensible design
- Ability to write high-quality code that is easily understood and used by others
- Ability to make significant changes in a large code base and develop tools and practices to do so safely
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team
