We are seeking a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of QA experience, in-depth knowledge of test metrics and approaches, and experience with backend testing, including API testing and relational databases. The candidate should also be able to work during US hours and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of overall QA experience
  • In-depth knowledge of test metrics, approaches and best practices.
  • Need to have backend testing experience (API testing, hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL/PostgreSQL etc.))
  • Experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools - TestRail or similar)
  • Extensive DB knowledge (JOINs, aggregate functions, types of relations)
  • Ability to work during US hours (15.00 - 24.00 UA time)
  • Experience with Kafka is preferred but not mandatory
  • Application log tracing and troubleshooting (Datadog, ELK or similar)
  • Experience with Postman, Swagger (for API testing and documentation)
  • Knowledge of browser-specific testing tools will be a plus
  • Experience working with AWS will be a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • At least an Intermediate strong level of English, and an Advanced level of Ukrainian
