Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Sales Tool Product Manager to join our team at Motorola Solutions. This individual will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our Salesforce based digital sales tools, with the goal of empowering our sales teams to increase productivity, uncover new insights, and enhance their sales experience. The successful candidate will gather and analyze feedback from sales teams, translate them into product requirements, and oversee all stages of tool development, from definition to roll-out and change management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define and execute the product strategy for Salesforce-based digital sales tools in alignment with the overall sales and business objectives of Motorola Solutions
  • Engage with sales teams to understand their needs and challenges, gathering feedback and insights to inform product development decisions
  • Translate sales feedback and requirements into clear and actionable product requirements for the development teams
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and UX/UI design, to ensure the successful development, validation, testing, roll-out, and change management of the sales tools
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to continually enhance the sales tools
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases, managing expectations and resolving any development issues or challenges
  • Drive user acceptance testing and gather feedback from sales teams during the development process to ensure the tools meet their needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with marketing and training teams to develop effective sales enablement materials and training programs to support the adoption and effective use of the sales tools
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and effectiveness of the sales tools, making data-driven decisions for future enhancements and improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital sales tools, technologies, and industry best practices and proactively bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in digital sales tools or related software products
  • OR 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales support role
  • Salesforce platform experience
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and experience working closely with sales teams
  • Proven track record of defining and executing successful product strategies and roadmaps
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively gather feedback, present ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive decision-making
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience in the technology industry, preferably in the B2B software or telecommunications space, highly desirable
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices a plus


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • OR 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales support role
