Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Remote
Reports To: Jennipher Jess
Work Shift: 10 hrs per week as needed
Working Hours: CST overlap
Rate: $6 to $26/hr
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to optimize our company websites across various locations. The role involves implementing SEO strategies, developing and maintaining websites, and driving organic traffic and conversions through effective digital marketing techniques.
Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement SEO best practices during website development.
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, usability, and SEO performance.
Implement and customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Conduct website testing and troubleshooting across various browsers and devices.
Work closely with graphic designers and content creators to ensure visually appealing and cohesive website designs.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web development and SEO.
Provide technical support and guidance on website-related issues.
Continuously optimize websites for performance and scalability.
Develop and implement new website features and functionalities based on business requirements.
Ensure compliance with web standards and security practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate website functionalities with other business applications.
Participate in website planning and strategy sessions to align development with business goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing web development projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and WordPress.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
