Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Type: Full-time or Part-time(At least 10 - 15 hrs/week)

Join our client in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge decentralized exchange (DEX) platform. We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and can work collaboratively with our development and design teams to enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing of the DEX platform to identify defects and ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to validate user interfaces and ensure they meet design specifications and usability standards.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between frontend applications and backend services, including RESTful APIs.
• Facilitate performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the application can handle expected traffic and usage.
• Maintain, enhance, and expand automated test suites using suitable testing frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and track defects, providing detailed reports and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Verify cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of the DEX application.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices in the organization.
• Document and communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to the development team and management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools, with experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to effectively validate frontend functionality.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in testing web services.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized applications (DApps) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the fintech or blockchain space is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is advantageous.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
