Overview:

As a Buyer, you will support the execution of procurement activities for assigned categories and regions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient sourcing, cost optimization and supplier management, contributing to savings, compliance and value creation for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support internal stakeholders in analysing internal and external data as well as understanding business requirements

• Contribute to the implementation of category and sourcing strategies for assigned segments and regions

• Support tenders (RFPs/RFQs) within Sales and Service departments

• Prepare and execute tenders, including supplier communication, evaluations and documentation

• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalisation in collaboration with senior procurement colleagues

• Assist stakeholders in the preparation of technical and commercial specifications

• Support cost-saving and value-creation initiatives within assigned categories

• Manage supplier-related activities throughout the supplier lifecycle (from onboarding to phase-out)

• Conduct market research and support market monitoring activities

• Create, track and manage purchase orders (POs) in collaboration with internal departments

• Track expenses and support reporting activities

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes and guidelines

Requirements:

• 5 years relevant experience as a Buyer or Junior Buyer, ideally in Software, IT or Solutions procurement

• Experience in Telecoms or a related industry is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of IT services and distributor markets

• Familiarity with sourcing processes such as RFPs and RFQs

• Good negotiation and communication skills

• Hands-on, structured and detail-oriented working style

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus

• Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders at different organizational levels
