Tax Manager

What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)

• Maintain a tax calendar of required domestic compliance for indirect taxes (including Sales & Use, franchise and property taxes).

• Assist legal department with Annual Report filings.

• Review of Sales & Use Tax returns.

• Preparation of Personal Property tax returns.

• Preparation of Sales & Use tax account reconciliations.

• Completion of registration forms for newly established entities.

• Manage, monitor and maintain log of notices from and responses to taxing authorities.

• Assist with audits of indirect taxes.

• Preparation of W-8, W-8BENs, etc.

• Work with accounting teams to settle intercompany balances.

• Assist other members of Tax issues which arise in the day-to-day operations.

• Assist in global tax strategy as needed.

What You Need (Qualifications)

• Knowledge and skills typically associated with at least three years accounting experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

• Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP

• Working knowledge of Avalara Tax or other sales tax solutions

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
