Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and optimize 2D and 3D games using MonoGame, C#, and the .NET ecosystem.

2. Engineer scalable gameplay systems and graphics pipelines, exercising full control over game architecture.

3. Implement cross-platform functionality, ensuring consistency and performance across devices.

4. Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other developers to deliver cohesive player experiences.

5. Write robust, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on quality and best practices.

6. Perform code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and debug complex technical challenges.

7. Communicate clearly and proactively—both in writing and verbally—to ensure streamlined workflows within the customer's team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Deep hands-on experience with MonoGame and familiarity with its role as a successor to XNA.

2. Proficient in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with a strong grasp of object-oriented design principles.

3. Demonstrated expertise in developing, deploying, and optimizing cross-platform games (Windows, macOS, Linux, consoles, mobile).

4. Strong knowledge of 2D/3D rendering pipelines, graphics APIs, and gameplay engineering.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to proactive information sharing.

6. Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and iterating based on feedback.

7. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems independently.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Background in custom engine development or low-level graphics programming.

2. Experience transitioning or modernizing XNA projects into MonoGame.
