Brief Overview of the Job Description:

This position is critical for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and related tools to reduce deployment costs and increase efficiency.

• Implement cost-effective cloud solutions and optimize resource utilization across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.

• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes across multiple environments to ensure high availability and reliability for end-users.

• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

• Oversee automated testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security, reducing downtime and enhancing system performance.

• Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and resolve configuration issues quickly and efficiently.

• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes to streamline development and production environments.

• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve production issues.

• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD processes, deployment guidelines, and operational procedures.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve DevOps practices and processes.

• Participate in training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge in cloud platforms and DevOps tools.

• Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong DevOps culture within the organization.

• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay ahead of technological advancements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications such as Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Jenkins, or Certified DevOps Professional are advantageous.

Knowledge:

• Profound knowledge in cloud infrastructure, especially on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Strong understanding of scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, and Ansible.

Skills:

• Expertise in using a wide range of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) including setting up, configuring, and optimizing.

• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform).

• Strong command over containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with network protocols and standards, including HTTP, REST, SSL.
