Position Summary
The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the company's payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees globally. They will manage records, address staff inquiries, administer benefits, produce reports, and collaborate across departments while ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
Essential Functions Statements
- Oversee and manage all payroll processing both on cycle and off cycle (BiWeekly, Semi-monthly and Monthly cycles)
- Operates as subject matter expert (SME) related to payroll process flow through to end finished payroll delivery with the ability to effectively articulate the process
- Responsible for creation and/or update of all SOP’s related to payroll support and processing
- Working knowledge of Payroll and wage and hour labor laws including union payment rules
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements including managing amendments and/or initiating and closing accounts in various jurisdictions.
- Partners with internal teams related to payroll calculation needs and the execution of configuration of all earnings, deductions and taxes.
- Understands the employee experience and works collaboratively with our People Team to provide continuous improvement of our ADP People IS Systems
- Builds a culture of continuous improvement within the team that aligns to the Metrea Firmware
Competency Statements
- 10 years of progressive management experience in payroll
- 5 years of ADP WorkForce Now and/or WorkForce Management experience
- 5 years of experience with Expatriate payroll processing
- CPP or FPC preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root cause and address data integrity issues as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Desire to innovate and improve processes with through automation and workflow management
- Able to work effectively in a time sensitive environment, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external team

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
