POSITION OVERVIEW

Roles:

  • Primary role is software application development and maintenance.
  • Provide back-up IT support for MRIoA software applications.

Major Responsibilities or Assigned Duties:

  • Develop new software applications under the direction of Software Development Supervisor / senior developers.
  • Design, implement, test, document, and maintain software applications according to existing guidelines, coding standards, and industry best practices.
  • Assist stakeholders in defining scope and specifications for new software solutions by studying business requirements, work processes, and data usage.
  • Document, investigate, fix, and report on software defects.
  • Monitor, analyze, refactor, and enhance existing apps and source code.
  • Research and recommend improvements to our software, processes, and development tools, including cost and time estimates.
  • Complete other duties as requested.
  • Mentor, train, and assist more junior developers.
  • Complete other duties as requested.

Work Environment:

Ability to sit at a desk, utilize a computer, telephone, and other basic office equipment is required. This role is designed to be a remote position (work-from-home).

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS.
  • Proficient in Python.
  • Familiarity with Windows C++ and Adobe ColdFusion.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, GCP, and AWS.

 Education:

  • High School Diploma.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
