Position Summary:

About this Opportunity:

The Manager- Quality and Training is a high-impact dual role that transforms performance through strategic training design and data-driven quality insights. You will be reporting to the Director- C&D operations. You'll create engaging learning experiences while conducting audits that uncover critical improvement opportunities. By analyzing performance data and audit findings, you'll identify skill gaps, design targeted interventions, and measure real results — directly shaping operational excellence and team success.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities and Impact Drivers: (not limited to)

  • Design and deliver instructor-led training and continuous learning programs for new hires and tenured employees. Innovate beyond the classroom by building a scalable, automated, and asynchronous learning ecosystem that drives rapid speed-to-proficiency.
  • Manage a team of Data analysts who conduct quality audits and provide new hire training and process refreshers, evaluate interactions against defined standards and documenting findings with structured, actionable feedback
  • Serve as the ultimate owner of data quality and ensure all team output strictly complies with established governance standards, documentation, and reporting requirements. Ensure that reference data rules are meticulously followed and managed through the team. Work cross-functionally with Governance, UAT, and Training teams to understand and implement changing standards.
  • Lead the analysis of audit data to identify performance gaps, root causes, and systemic issues — translating insights into targeted interventions such as refresher training, job aids, coaching guides, or process clarifications.Lead and develop trainings for advanced skills training in HITL, prompt engineering, and data governance.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and drive standardization of best practices across Content and Data verticals. Champion the adoption of proven processes and methodologies to ensure consistent operational performance, reduce variability, and scale successful innovations across the organization.
  • Support the exploration of AI-assisted auditing tools to scale quality coverage across multiple platforms or multiple media types. Actively participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of assigned workflows, providing critical feedback for system and process enhancements. Participate directly in the HITL AI feedback loop to drive ongoing engine improvements.
  • Develop and produce comprehensive metrics and reports that lead to performance improvement and operational transparency. Lead Kaizen events and conduct auditing activities to ensure proper process implementation, adherence to standard work, and sustainability of improvements. Communicate process health and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management through structured weekly and monthly executive reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across organizations to understand and evaluate business priorities, define shared opportunities and requirements, and establish effective information-sharing mechanisms. Work alongside stakeholders to define and execute innovative solutions that enhance customer experience while influencing outcomes both with and without direct authority.

Role Mandate - How you will move the needle

  • You start your day diving deep into real-time quality dashboards and global defect metrics. You analyze this data to anticipate systemic process failures, evaluate the integrity of our QA audit sampling, and make rapid, high-judgment decisions on where to deploy immediate training interventions across multiple media queues.
  • By mid-morning, you are partnering with your Quality Data Analysts and Trainers. You don't just ask them for audit scores; you establish rigorous feedback loops and coach them to perform deep-dive defect analysis. You review their audit roadmaps, ruthlessly protect their objectivity, and ensure they are catching root-cause errors while fostering a culture of zero-defect ownership and continuous curriculum improvement.
  • In the afternoon, you zoom out to focus on Process Governance and the COE (Correction of Errors). You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—Operations Managers, Associates, and Governance team—to lead Root Cause Analysis reviews. You propose structural guardrails (Prevent/Detect/Mitigate) to bridge gaps in our policies and processes. You may also architect scalable, asynchronous training modules that ensure the same human error never happens twice.
  • You relentlessly seek out the "voice of the client" (both internal stakeholders and end-users) to validate the absolute accuracy and integrity of our data output. You end the day by leading data-driven defect reviews, highlighting the sharpest analysts, and ensuring our onboarding ecosystem is perfectly positioned to deliver highly proficient, cross-trained associates to the production floor the next day.

What You Will Deliver

Success Measures:

First 30 Days (Audit & Calibrate): Take full ownership of the centralized yet new Quality and training layer. Audit our current baseline metrics across all queues and formally launch the weekly defect and quality reviews with the Operations Managers.

First 60-90 Days : Establish the unified Quality-to-Training feedback loop. Demonstrate a measurable decrease in repeat defects by translating QA audit findings directly into targeted, asynchronous refresher training for the floor.

After 6 months: Drive floor-wide accuracy to a >98% baseline. Restructure the new-hire onboarding curriculum to reduce speed-to-proficiency ramp time by 15%, ensuring new associates hit target SLAs faster.

Qualifications and skill requirements

  • 5+ years of overall experience in data operations, data quality, system quality, quality testing, training lead or quality and training coordinator role.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience.
  • 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute learning interventions and projects from concept to completion
  • Experience in HITL quality and MT (Machine Teaching) - Working knowledge of prompt engineering and AI workflows
  • Understanding of data annotation and quality metrics Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel, Power BI, Prompt Engineering and Lean Methodology is a must
  • Six sigma (GB) certification is a massive plus.
