Now Hiring: Programmer/Developer

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Programmer to join our growing IT team. This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate office and offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly support patient care.
About MedBridge:
MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices to deliver fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.
About the Role:
As a Programmer, you will maintain and enhance legacy PHP applications while contributing to modernizing our development environment. You'll work independently or as part of a small team to build scalable solutions, support system integrations, and manage MySQL databases in a cloud-first environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of a legacy PHP application with limited documentation
- Develop new features using PHP (legacy and modern), CakePHP or similar frameworks
- Optimize and manage MySQL databases
- Use Git for version control and AWS for deployment and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure seamless interoperability through API development and integration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement project requirements
- Document code and system architecture for future maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- 1+ year PHP development experience (portfolio required)
- Familiarity with legacy PHP and MVC frameworks like CakePHP
- Experience with MySQL, Git, AWS, and API integration
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
- Experience modernizing and transitioning legacy systems
- Ability to implement solutions within existing frameworks
