Navitus Health Solutions is seeking s Sr. Software Developer to join our IT Development team!
The Sr. Software Developer ensures efforts are in alignment with the Information Technology team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people’s lives. The Sr. Software Developer’s role is to define, design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and existing applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes designing, documenting, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Sr. Software Developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
The Ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience working as a Microsoft C# developer in an AWS environment. This Candidate will have a primary focus on AWS technologies and API development using Lambda.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Design and implement software solution using AWS technologies, with a focus on quality, scalability, and longevity.• Define, develop, and document software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.• Design, develop, document, and implement new applications and application enhancements according to business and technical requirements.• Consistently design, write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.• Monitor logging and performance metrics to improve quality across existing products.• Manage and operate scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS platforms.
- Maintain AWS certification and drive for continuous improvement with rapidly changing technologies.• Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.• Code reviews and mentoring of less experienced development staff on an as needed basis to ensure conformity to company standard practices.• On-call availability and some travel may be required.• Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and must have 3+ years of professional programming work experience
- Proven experience as a software developer with a strong focus on AWS technologies- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)- Proficiency in C# and .NET platform a plus- AWS Cloud Development and experience with Infrastructure as Code practices- Experience with Monitoring tools such as AWS Cloudwatch, ELK stack, Splunk, Prometheus, etc.- Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.- Working knowledge or experience with source control tools such as GitHub.- Expertise in Unit Testing and Behavior-Driven Testing both in execution and creation- Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.- Working knowledge or experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
