Senior Client Advisor, Property Practice (Nordhavn)

You will be responsible for providing professional support and advice. In this role, you will advise some of Denmark's largest companies on risk, risk management, and insurance, including building, property, and operational risks. You will report to Sarah Dahlqvist, Head of Risk Management & Specialty.

We will rely on you to:

  • Provide daily advice to customers regarding building, property, and operational risks, as well as handling international insurance programs;
  • Perform analysis tasks, including analyzing policies, claims data, business risks, and due diligence;
  • Negotiate with insurance companies, including in connection with tenders and renewals;
  • Design program structures and insurance solutions;.
  • Prepare renewal proposals and tender material, as well as compare insurance offers and recommend the right insurance solution to customers;
  • Contribute to product development and preparation of insurance clauses;
  • Review engineering reports with a special focus on insurance aspects;
  • Prepare tools for knowledge sharing and benchmarking;
  • Support the sales organization in connection with broker tenders and campaigns;
  • Provide claims advice within the specialty area;
  • Ensure business development, including the development and execution of sales strategies in collaboration with the sales organization within your own field and business area;
  • Ensure the development of innovative best-practice solutions and know-how tools within your field and business area;
  • Train new employees;
  • Delegate tasks and provide support to junior employees.

What you need to have:

  • Relevant modules for a Property Specialist at the Insurance Academy, underwriter, engineer, building constructor, or other relevant background;
  • Several years of professional experience with Property risks from the building, insurance, or insurance brokerage industry;
  • Strong advisory skills, professionalism, and creativity;
  • Analytical approach to tasks, including problem-solving;
  • Ability to work independently but recognize that the best results are often achieved through teamwork;
  • Structured approach to tasks and efficiency with attention to detail;
  • Ability to take responsibility for your own tasks and follow them through to completion;
  • Solid professional support to colleagues;
  • Strong communication skills (negotiation level) in both written and spoken Danish and English;
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • Positive and outgoing attitude and ability to demonstrate a positive impact - both internally and with customers.
