We are seeking a talented individual to join our FINPROCorporate practice team at Marsh. This role can be based in any of our capital city offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of small to medium accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service and consistent attainment of revenue and expense budgets.
We will count on you to:
- Consistently achieve agreed service standards.
- Foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management, and other changes to preserve and protect these relationships.
- Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met.
- Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
- Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim-related matters and assist claims colleagues in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of financial lines policies offered to clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation, and other relevant legislation, keeping abreast of all new developments.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 qualified.
- Demonstrated experience in insurance broking or underwriting.
- Experience managing a large portfolio with volume of accounts.
- Experience looking after commercial and corporate accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
