Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in SUVA, FIJI.

Insurance Consultant / Account Executive

This role will be for a motivated candidate to interact with a variety of businesses within Suva, Fiji. The candidate is required to be an organised self-starter to proactively manage the interactions with our client as a part of a team and grow new relationships. It is important to show an in depth understanding of our client and their needs through research into their key risks, emerging industry issues and continued professional development.

This role requires a high degree of communication competence, initiative, discretion, and confidentiality.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and pro-actively responding to these needs
• Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client’s needs as required
• Processing billing requests and gathering information for quotes
• Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
• Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
• Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
• Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
• Adhere strictly to the Company's policies, Quality practices and other systems and procedures.
• Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.

We would like you to have:

• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferably someone with experience in handling Employee & Health benefits accounts.
• Clear and effective written communication skills
• Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work autonomously
• Must have intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
