Position Overview:As an Associate Consultant at Marsh McLennan, you will take ownership of delivering projects to our existing clients, focusing on Benefit Selection Windows and ongoing Change Requests. Your role will involve consulting on the effective use of our Darwin software to manage clients’ benefits schemes, gathering requirements, and presenting best practice solutions tailored to meet these needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Successfully manage and deliver various client projects, ensuring accountability for quality, budget, and timely delivery.
- Client Consultation:Engage with clients to gather benefit and system requirements, documenting them in the Benefit & Darwin Specification (BDS).
- Stakeholder Management:Demonstrate strong communication skills throughout the project lifecycle, leading to successful outcomes and positive client feedback.
- Configuration and Testing:Implement and configure Darwin™ to meet client requirements, perform testing of configured functionalities, and support clients post-launch.
- Methodology Adherence:Manage project plans, actions, risks, and issues in line with Darwin methodology (ID3), ensuring effective delivery.
- Knowledge Sharing:Support the advancement of the Solutions Delivery team by developing methodologies, mentoring colleagues, and participating in knowledge sharing and Learning & Development initiatives.
- Travel:Be prepared for ad-hoc business travel for client meetings as required.
What You Need to Have:
- Experience:2-4 years of consulting and/or project management experience, with a proven track record of managing and delivering technology project/program initiatives.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Romanian and English.
- Project Management Skills:Practical experience with structured project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Strong active problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude, with flexible and creative approaches to managing effective delivery in varied situations.
- Interpersonal Skills:Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in IT systems configuration and implementation.
- Proficiency in data manipulation using Excel.
