Set the technical direction, design resilient architectures, raise the bar on code quality, and mentor a team of full-stack engineers to deliver reliably at speed. Act as part architect, part hands-on builder, and part mentor — focused on the team’s collective output and technical health of our systems, not just individual commits. Provide development support by designing, coding, documenting, and testing Node.JS, React.js, MongoDB, and Redis solutions per business requirements. Provide technical leadership for projects through the entire SDLC from gathering requirements, data analysis to development, testing, documentation, deployment, and support.

- Design and evolve microservices and composable architectures with clear contracts, domain boundaries, and independent deployability.
- Recommend and enforce coding standards and quality gates (tests, linting, type safety, performance budgets); complete design reviews and code reviews.
- Balance feature delivery with technical debt management; make trade-offs explicit and plan repayments.
- Ship high-quality web apps using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js/Express, and REST/GraphQL APIs; integrate with headless CMS.
- Design, document, and maintain public and internal APIs.
- Leverage AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
- Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and SLOs; drive incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Proactively recommend innovative solutions for solving problems based on industry standards, guidelines, and recommendations in the financial industry.
- Work with business partners and developers to build robust enterprise Online Lending Web and Web API solutions that satisfy business requirements.
- Review and interpret ongoing business application requirements, research required data, and build appropriate deliverables.
- Document and provide support for deployed Online Lending solutions.
- Verify the accuracy and validity of all software developed. Conduct code reviews, including preparations of sample test data for unit testing and the execution of programs, scheduled CRON jobs, and system testing, as well as preparing all required documentation indicating system functionality.
- Investigate the root cause of application issues, system down, or database failures and makes accurate decisions to fix or repair the problem.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Security, and Data teams.
- Foster a culture of craftsmanship, learning, and psychological safety.
- Mentor the development team and help to grow and evolve their technical skills.
- Use and coach others on AI-assisted coding tools responsibly to accelerate routine tasks and improve test coverage while maintaining human oversight.
- Research and propose new technologies, architecture, platforms, tools, and processes that can be utilized by the team.
