We are looking for Junior Data Governance Analysts to join a long term regulatory initiative within an international banking environment. The programme focuses on BCBS239 and RDARR compliance, supporting risk data aggregation, regulatory reporting, and enterprise data governance. The environment is structured and documentation heavy, with strong emphasis on data lineage, metadata management, and data quality controls across financial risk domains.
Responsibilities
- Support creation and maintenance of metadata documentation including data ownership and business definitions
- Prepare business and vertical data lineage documentation
- Assist in documenting data quality controls and validation rules
- Participate in data transformation and data management activities
- Work with structured financial and risk datasets
- Collaborate with international stakeholders in English
- Ensure governance artefacts are aligned with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Junior level experience in data management, data governance, or data quality
- Understanding of financial data used in reporting or risk processes
- Basic knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks
- Ability to analyse complex documentation and extract key information
- Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
- Good communication skills in English
