We are looking for Frontend Developers to join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Build, refactor, and optimise UI modules inReact andAngular
- Translate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready components
- Create reusable components, shared libraries, and maintainfrontendarchitecture consistency
- Optimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experience
- Integratefrontendapplications with REST APIs and backend services
- Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices
- Implement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library
- Collaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teams
- Work with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna)
- Maintain documentation and support engineering standards
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial experience infrontenddevelopment
- Strong experience withReact and Angular
- Excellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internals
- Experience with design systems and component driven development
- Solid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals)
- Good understanding of REST API integration patterns
- Comfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environments
- Experience writing unit tests forfrontendcode
- Fluent English for daily work and technical documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworks
- Knowledge offrontendperformance profiling tools
- Familiarity with CI pipelines forfrontenddelivery
- Accessibility experience (WCAG)
- Exposure to Azure or cloud basedfrontenddeployments
