This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Business & System Analyst to join a finance and tax technology programme focused on process automation, reporting workflows, and compliance-related enterprise systems. The role combines business analysis, system analysis, and light delivery coordination responsibilities within a structured enterprise environment.

This position requires close collaboration with business, tax, and technology teams, with strong focus on requirements analysis, process modelling, data validation, integrations, and structured documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements from tax, finance, and technology stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system documentation
  • Model business and system processes usingBPMN and UML
  • Analyse data flows, validation logic, approval workflows, reporting outputs, and integration dependencies
  • UseSQLto support data analysis, validation, issue investigation, and reporting logic verification
  • Support API and integration analysis, including mapping source systems, target structures, and business rules
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery coordination
  • Coordinate communication between business users, tax experts, developers, QA, and delivery managers
  • Support tracking of actions, dependencies, blockers, and project timelines
  • Help organise workshops, status updates, and project documentation activities
  • Support testing activities including UAT preparation, defect clarification, and business validation
  • Maintain process maps, workflow descriptions, data mappings, and requirement documentation
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across business and technical areas

Requirements

  • Experience as aBusiness Analyst, System Analyst, Technical BA, PMO Analyst, Delivery Coordinator, or Project Coordinatorin technology projects
  • Strong ability to analyse business processes and translate them into structured business and system requirements
  • Practical experience withUML and BPMN
  • Good knowledge ofSQLfor data validation, analysis, and support of testing activities
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, reporting systems, workflow platforms, or data driven solutions
  • Good understanding of integrations, data flows, validation rules, and business logic
  • Ability to prepare clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and system documentation
  • Experience supporting delivery coordination or project tracking activities
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Very good English communication skills
Nice to have
  • Experience in finance, tax, accounting, banking, insurance, or regulatory reporting
  • Understanding of ERP systems, financial data structures, or compliance processes
  • Exposure to tax reporting areas such as VAT, CIT, WHT, SAF T, or similar
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP, or system integration concepts
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, Draw.io, Visio, or similar
  • Experience working in consulting or client facing environments
  • Experience with cloud based enterprise applications
