As a trusted problem-solver and cross-functional collaborator, you will lead complex design initiatives from discovery to delivery, helping define and build thoughtful, user-centered solutions that enhance the financial lives of millions.
Requirements
- Own the end-to-end design process for key features or product areas—driving discovery, prototyping, design delivery, and iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers) to frame problems, validate solutions, and deliver usable, accessible designs.
- Translate requirements into detailed UX deliverables, including journey maps, wireframes, flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Participate in and apply user research insights, ensuring design decisions are grounded in real user needs and behaviors.
- Contribute to and evolve Lumin’s design system, improving consistency, scalability, and usability across the product.
- Mentor and support other designers, offering feedback through design reviews, critiques, and shared project work.
- Advocate for user-centered design throughout the product development process, balancing business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs.
- Clearly communicate design rationale, collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Set design direction within established frameworks, making decisive, well-articulated decisions that unblock cross-functional partners and elevate the overall product experience.
- Actively leverage AI tools (including Claude and ChatGPT) to accelerate and enhance the design lifecycle—from ideation and documentation to prototyping and decision-making.
