On behalf of our Client - a growing, UK-based global consulting firm currently building its SAP practice in Poland - we are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Senior Consultant.
This is a key role within a rapidly expanding SAP unit, offering the opportunity to shape data governance capabilities for global clients while working in a fully remote, international environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP MDG implementations on S/4HANA, covering domains such as Business Partner, Material, Supplier, and Finance;
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating data governance requirements into scalable and efficient MDG solutions;
- Design and configure:
- MDG data models;
- Governance processes and workflows;
- Change requests, validation rules, and UI adaptations;
- Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, including data quality KPIs, ownership models, and approval structures;
- Drive integration between SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and other systems (e.g., ECC, Ariba, BW, CRM, non-SAP);
- Lead functional testing, UAT, and go-live readiness, ensuring high data quality and solution stability;
- Contribute to and lead business development activities, including proposal creation and client presentations;
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices, accelerators, and solution standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SAP, including strong exposure to SAP MDG (functional with technical understanding);
- Proven track record of 2–3+ end-to-end SAP MDG implementations in S/4HANA environments;
- Strong knowledge of master data governance processes and frameworks;
- Experience in stakeholder management and working in client-facing roles;
- Understanding of MDG technical components (e.g., workflows, BRF+, UI, data models);
- University degree (BSc or equivalent).

- SAP MDG Certification;
- Experience with data migration and broader MDM tools;
- Exposure to:
- SAP Information Steward;
- SAP Data Services;
- SAP PI / Integration tools.
