Our Client has built an unique Startup to enhance Kubernetes for developers. Their founders - the biggest IT investors in the USA - have led tech innovation for decades and are now taking Kubernetes to the next level. They build an open-source ecosystem for the next generation products and projects. They are currently extending their team in Europe, filling key roles and look forward to matching with talented engineers.
They are looking for an open-minded, experienced Software Engineer to help bring the webapp to the next stage. Their product has evolved from an OSS core into a complex, enterprise-focused solution. This evolution has brought both exciting opportunities and technical challenges.
They need an engineer who can deeply understand their customers’ needs, their product, and help drive a high quality UX/UI experience. Their product is in a fast-paced growth phase, and they need someone who can contribute to their product’s evolution, with a strong focus on quality and scalability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Experience across multiple companies and architectures, demonstrating adaptability to different technologies and contexts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and testing frameworks to understand our product and customer use cases.
- Ideally, DevOps and backend development skills (especially Golang) for better collaboration and understanding of the full stack.
- Willingness to occasionally interact with customers — customer facing experience is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Frontend excellence: Deep expertise in ReactJS (required).
- UI/UX: Strong sense for user experience and interface design.
- Testing: Experience with modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
- Cloud & DevOps: Solid understanding of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices (GCP preferred).
Nice to have:
- Backend: Experience with Golang.
- Customer facing: Experience in customer discussions or support.
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Team player comfortable working with and mentoring senior engineers.
- Experience working under pressure and within resource constraints (startup experience a plus).
- Previous customer-facing or support experience.
