Job Purpose

Coordinates LivaNova’s strategy and contributes to the success of the business in the assigned Region(s). Has the strategic vision on how to develop the LivaNova CS and NM business in the assigned Region(s).

This position will provide excellent sales and service to end users for the CS and NM products for LivaNova. Responsible for projecting and achieving sales targets in units and revenue within assigned territories. Will evaluate the market continuously; report market conditions; and evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies for the territory.

Major Accountabilities

  • Formulate Territory Business Plan, including set objectives and strategies for each account, in line with the Divisional Business Plan.

  • Evaluate market situation in assigned territory on a continuous basis and report market data and trends on a regular basis to management.

  • Achieve sales targets in units and revenue as well as price targets.

  • Update the sales database on a continuous basis to maintain the reliability and validity of the data.

  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities. Provide on-going feedback to management, products and marketing.

  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with company objectives.

  • Attract, retain, train, and develop world-class distributors/commercial talents.

  • Direct, train, and develop sales representatives to achieve sales targets in units, revenue, and prices.

  • Propose sales targets and strategies to management on a regular basis and present written reports and recommendations.

  • Ensure that all sales and marketing activities are aligned with company compliance policy and are conducted within legal and ethical standards.

  • Propose & maintain consignment inventories consistent with company policies.

  • Provide timely monthly sales reports, expense reports, account profiles and other company reports as required.

  • Develop programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and clinical evidence where appropriate

  • Develop and actively maintain in-depth technical understanding of LivaNova products

  • Compile required reports and customer presentations.

  • Effective ongoing communication with all relevant customer contacts and internal colleagues to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.

  • Be competent in the understanding and delivery of the appropriate training packages to customers, and the ongoing maintenance of training requirements.

  • Project and maintain company image and presence within assigned territory with regular and frequent customer visits, presence at trade shows, surgeon visits, etc.

Education

Administration degree or related

Languages

English: Fluency is a plus

Local language if applicable

Experience/Professional requirement

  • Medical Device industry experience minimum 5 years is considered key for the role

  • Strong demonstrative customer focus

  • Proven strategic selling and marketing skills to achieve growth and sales targets

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent leadership ability

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills. Great influencing skills, with the ability to build trust
