Acting as the client’s architectural authority, this role partners closely with system integrators, product owners, technical leads, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and future-proof design aligns with the client’s roadmap and Salesforce best practices.

Duties:
  • Design and validate a scalable, efficient, and sustainable Salesforce architecture for multi‑cloud global implementations
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for maintainability, extensibility, and long‑term viability
  • Align all architectural decisions with the Salesforce product roadmap, enterprise architecture principles, and internal standards
  • Define configuration standards, design patterns, and guardrails for functional and technical teams
  • Review and approve functional designs across workstreams (Sales, Service, CLM, Integration, Data, RFP, etc.)
  • Translate business strategies and requirements into holistic Salesforce solutions that balance user experience, performance, and compliance
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, functional SMEs, and business owners to deliver solutions on schedule
  • Partner with the Integration Lead to design robust integration architecture with SAP, Agiloft, Workday, and other enterprise platforms
  • Validate data flows, API usage, middleware strategy, and integration patterns
  • Support data strategy activities, including data migration, mapping, and cleansing (in collaboration with the Data Lead and SI)
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout discovery, design, build, testing, and cutover phases
  • Review solution designs to ensure adherence to best practices, security frameworks, and change control processes
  • Support DevOps alignment, including environment strategy, release sequencing, and deployment governance
  • Participate in workshops, design reviews, RFP evaluations, and architecture decision records
  • Communicate architectural risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce solution architecture and multi‑cloud implementations across Sales, Service, and CLM
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and sustainable Salesforce architectures aligned with best practices and enterprise standards
  • Hands‑on experience with integration strategies involving SAP, Agiloft, Workday, including API usage, middleware design, and integration patterns
  • Experience supporting data migration, mapping, and cleansing efforts in partnership with data teams
  • Demonstrated ability to provide architectural oversight and lead cross‑functional teams (SIs, technical leads, business stakeholders)
  • Strong knowledge of architectural governance, DevOps alignment (environment strategy, release sequencing, deployment governance), and security frameworks
  • Salesforce Cloud certifications required — preferably multiple; strong preference for Sales and Service Cloud certifications. Marketing or Development certifications are beneficial but not required

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in industries with complex Salesforce integrations and compliance needs (e.g., manufacturing, technology, enterprise services)
  • Ability to operate effectively within East Coast working hours
  • Experience presenting architectural risks and trade‑offs to executive stakeholders and participating in RFP evaluations
