If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for an Associate Analyst, IT SOX Compliance (Permanent Work from home) to join our team in Manila.
You will be responsible for leading the testing of relevant systems, incorporating new SaaS systems into our framework, and improving company processes. As a part of the finance team, you will help the Internal Audit and SOX Compliance team by assisting with the quarterly 52-109 and annual SOX 404 certification processes. Additionally, you will participate in board reporting and various other projects throughout the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in testing and documenting IT SOX controls, including reviewing the related risks and processes.
- Oversee the internal audit system (AuditBoard), ensuring its effective use and management for SOX compliance activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of IT General Controls, identify deficiencies, and work with control owners to develop remediation plans.
- Review and test automated controls to ensure they function correctly and effectively mitigate relevant risks.
- Work with business process owners to support compliance initiatives and communicate findings effectively.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Previous experience as an internal or external auditor with IT General Controls (ITGC) experience
- Strong understanding of SOX ITGC requirements
- Familiarity with the application of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience in roles requiring significant attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
