The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The Direct Operational Analytics team is looking for highly motivated analyst with strong analytical and technical skills to join the Capacity Analytics team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that one of our core sales channels, the Direct Response Center, is staffed appropriately to meet the changing and dynamic demands of growth, economic and strategic objectives. This role is fast-paced and you will be empowered to make real-time decisions to drive meaningful business. You will have high visibility to Direct Channel leaders and collaborate with various partners throughout the organization on qualitative and quantitative inputs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills driven by curiosity. You must have the ability to make data-driven business recommendations and have a growth mindset for problem-solving. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

This role may have in-office requirements dependent on candidate location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and perform regular analyses and monitoring of call center staffing trends and performance to understand the current and future state
  • Play a key role in future planning and forecasting for call center recruiting, hiring and staffing
  • Execute economically informed recommendations to increase the call centers ability to handle calls
  • Understand how ad hoc analyses and new trends relate to the big picture to drive prioritization and progress to long term goals
  • Seamlessly partner across adjacent and stakeholder teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or Master's Degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools and common statistical principals.
  • Understanding of intricacies of business supported is helpful.
  • Understands how actions tie to systems capabilities and flow through to our financials/business drivers.
  • Ability to learn how to build simple tools and queries for others to use.
