Job Overview

We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for assuring the quality of data in the company corporate system, delivered to the users, using best quality engineering practices

Requirements

• Strong SQL Skills (T-SQL preferred): Expertise in writing complex queries, validating data transformations, and testing SQL logic. Ability to validate ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Experience with MSSQL Server: Hands-on experience in testing data on MSSQL databases, familiarity with database schema validation, performance testing, and data migrations.
• Experience with BI Tools (Power BI preferred): Ability to test and validate data visualizations, dashboards, and reports in Power BI. Ensure that data displayed in reports is accurate and up-to-date.
• Data Quality Assurance & Testing Strategies: Experience in designing and implementing test plans for data validation.
• Familiarity with concepts like data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Version Control Systems
• Intermediate (B1) and higher level of English
  
  Nice to have:
• Familiarity with dbt: Experience in testing data models, transformations, and pipelines in dbt. Ability to validate dbt models and ensure data transformations are correct.
• Automation Skills: Ability to develop automated test scripts for data pipelines or use tools that facilitate automated data QA Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interaction with all team members and participation in development at all stages.
• Bugs detection and quality control.
• Creation of test cases, bugs detection using different testing methods.
• Root cost analysis of detected bugs, their classification.
• Reporting and documentation of technical issues
