Lenskart is an Indian multinational eyewear company, based in Gurugram. As a vertically integrated company, it designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails prescription and regular eyewear. It sells its products through its website, mobile app, and over 2,000 physical stores. Founded in 2010 by Peyush Bansal, a former Microsoft employee, along with Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi, Lenskart initially focused on contact lenses and later expanded to include eyeglasses and sunglasses. The company's mission is to provide high-quality eyewear to millions of Indians at affordable prices. Lenskart has revolutionized the eyewear industry in India by combining a strong online presence with uniquely designed physical stores and a first-of-its-kind 'Home Eye Check-up' service. This approach allows them to reach over 100,000 customers a month.

Lenskart is known for its use of technology, including being India's first and only brand to use robotic techniques for manufacturing lenses, ensuring accuracy to three decimal places. These German-imported machines automate the inspection, geometric centering, and edging of lenses. The company boasts a wide variety of over 5,000 eyewear styles, significantly more than typical retailers in India, and includes both in-house brands and popular international brands. Their product range covers eyeglasses, sunglasses, reading glasses, and contact lenses for men, women, and children. Lenskart continually updates its styles to keep up with global fashion trends. The company operates on a direct-to-consumer model, eliminating middlemen to reduce costs and maintain high-quality standards. Lenskart has a manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, with an annual production capacity of 5 crore (50 million) glasses. The company has also expanded internationally, with a presence in Singapore, Dubai, and other Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern countries, as well as the United States. In June 2022, Lenskart acquired a majority stake in the Japanese eyewear brand Owndays. Neso Brands, a subsidiary of Lenskart, was founded in 2022 to partner and invest in consumer eyewear brands globally.
