Leidos is seeking an experienced Request Manager to provide coordination, management, and execute Government customer requests on a large multibillion dollar program. This individual is responsible for coordination, organizing, monitoring, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of services supporting customer goals and objectives - ensuring that all projects run within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Request Manager will coordinate with functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel to make decisions that drive long-term success, create efficiencies, organize and distribute information metrics that support the profitability and growth of this program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Government program team to receive, review, comment and distribute technical insertion, basic purchase, delivery order and task order requests.
  • Lead and coordinate with internal resources to gather and consolidate information necessary to respond to Government customer requests.
  • Provide review of technical insertion specifications, working with Leidos material planning team to create and deliver proposals in response to requests from the Government customer.
  • Provide Task Order Management by reviewing Government Performance Work Statements (PWS), identifying resources to execution the PWS to include both internal Leidos or external subcontract personnel.
  • Provide guidance and monitoring of various projects and task orders through completion.
  • Coordinate with configuration management team for contract deliverables, configuration changes and End of Life notifications to the Government customer.
  • Collect and assess qualitative and quantitative data to refine execution strategies.
  • Leverage experience to support process refinement, improvement, and to create efficiencies across the program.
  • Maintain pricing history for C5ISR equipment that is included on the program Catalog.
  • Support sustainment of internal Microsoft Teams Site to ensure most recent data is captured for Leidos Team awareness and reference.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • US citizenship; Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance required.
  • Expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles or project management.
  • Strong organization skills along with ability to prioritize tasks to manage customer requirements.
  • Experience briefing various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for collaborating with technical teams.
  • Experience creating Basis of Estimates to support task order requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET clearance highly preferred.
  • Proximity to the Aberdeen, MD to support customer meetings as required is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-demand environment to support customer requirements within stringent timelines.
  • Proven ability to develop contract deliverables aligned with Data Item Descriptions.
  • Experience developing and delivering proposals in support of customer requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of Macros within Excel to support / create requirement templates.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

Leidos' story begins in 1969 when Dr. J. Robert Beyster, a visionary scientist, founded Science Applications Incorporated (SAI) in La Jolla, San Diego, California. A pivotal moment arrived in 2013 when SAIC underwent a significant transformation, splitting into two independent, publicly traded companies: a new company retaining the SAIC name and the original company, which was rebranded as Leidos (a name derived from 'kaleidoscope'). Leidos, as the legal successor to the original SAIC, inherited its pre-2013 stock price and corporate filing history and established its new headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This strategic move allowed Leidos to sharpen its focus on national security, health, and engineering solutions. Another major milestone occurred in August 2016 when Leidos merged with Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) business, a landmark transaction that created the defense industry's largest IT services provider and significantly expanded Leidos' capabilities and market share. Today, Leidos stands as a Fortune 500® global science and technology leader, employing approximately 47,000 people worldwide and generating billions in annual revenue, committed to making the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through innovation and technology.
