Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality goals.
• Define and implement a comprehensive testing architecture and strategy for software projects.
• Design and oversee the implementation of test frameworks and automated testing solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers in executing test plans and test cases.
• Conduct reviews of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure effective testing processes.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance on best practices for testing within an agile development environment.
• Conduct regular assessments of testing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar leadership role.
• In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing test frameworks and automation solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities with experience leading a testing team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of different types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, performance).
• Previous experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
