Tax Manager (Hybrid Remote)

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead tax engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax savings and minimize liabilities for clients.
• Review complex tax issues, transactions, and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to tax staff, fostering professional development and growth.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, goals, and challenges.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other relevant certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
