Job Description

We are looking for a sustainability enthusiast recently graduated (in sustainability/environmental sciences, business administration, economics, sustainable tourism, or related fields) to join our team as an intern.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in implementing an ESG strategy within a multinational company across multiple countries and departments in the travel technology industry while contributing to our company's mission to promote responsible travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of cross-functional sustainability initiatives (e.g. Diversity & inclusion initiatives, Volunteering and Social impact activities in collaboration with local communities)

  • Contribute to the collection, storage and validation of content and data for the preparation of non-financial information reports in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g. Swiss RBI, CSRD, TCFD).

  • Support in the analysis and monitoring of key sustainability indicators

  • Provide general support in day-to-day tasks and assignments to facilitate the objectives set by the Sustainability and Public Affairs department.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field (candidates currently pursuing a degree will be considered)

  • Full proficiency in English.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with diverse stakeholders

  • Willingness to learn on-the-job

  • Proactivity, adaptability, and a passion for driving positive change

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, CDP) is a plus

  • Any previous work experience in the OTA field or in the Sustainability area would be considered a plus
