About the Role
Become a vital part of revolutionizing the legal landscape! As an AI Tutor - Law (USA), you will be instrumental in developing AI models capable of understanding and navigating the complexities of the US legal system. Your legal expertise will be crucial in shaping how AI interacts with legal concepts, ensuring accuracy and ethical considerations across various legal domains including civil law, criminal law, contract law, property law, family law, intellectual property law, constitutional law, administrative law, and litigation procedures. Your deep understanding of legal research, case analysis, and legal reasoning will be applied to educate and evaluate our AI models, paving the way for innovative legal tech solutions.
Your Day to Day
- Educate AI: Analyze and refine AI-generated outputs on diverse legal topics, providing detailed feedback to improve accuracy and comprehension. You'll work with the AI to refine its understanding of key legal precedents, statutory interpretation, and the application of law to real-world scenarios.
- Problem Solving: Guide the AI through complex legal problems, providing step-by-step solutions and explanations that are clear to both human and artificial learners. This will involve teaching the AI to analyze fact patterns, identify relevant legal issues, and construct sound legal arguments.
- Red Teaming: Leverage your legal acumen to rigorously test the AI's capabilities. Design scenarios that expose potential biases, ethical concerns, or limitations in the AI's understanding of the law. Your insights will be crucial for refining the AI's decision-making process and ensuring responsible development.
About You
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school in the United States, or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience in legal research and analysis.
- Strong command of US legal principles, procedures, and precedents.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with a passion for exploring the intersection of AI and law.
- A demonstrated interest in legal technology and the responsible development of AI is highly desirable.
