About the Role
Become a vital part of the future of AI-driven advancements in biomedicine. As an AI Tutor, Biomedicine, you will have the opportunity to directly shape the understanding and capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. Your expertise will be crucial in training these models to comprehend and navigate the complexities of biological systems, disease processes, and therapeutic interventions, ultimately contributing to breakthroughs in healthcare and medicine.
Your Day to Day
- Educate AI: Utilize your deep knowledge of biomedicine to guide and refine AI models through RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback). This will involve reviewing AI-generated outputs, providing feedback, and correcting errors to ensure the models develop a nuanced and accurate understanding of biological processes, ranging from cellular mechanisms to clinical presentations.
- Shape AI Understanding: Focus on key biomedical areas crucial for AI comprehension, including:
- Genomics and Molecular Biology: Guide AI to interpret genetic sequences, understand gene expression patterns, and identify potential disease markers.
- Physiology and Anatomy: Teach AI about the intricate workings of the human body, including organ systems, tissue structures, and physiological processes.
- Pharmacology and Therapeutics: Train AI on drug mechanisms of action, drug interactions, and personalized medicine approaches.
- Disease Mechanisms and Pathology: Educate AI on the causes, progression, and manifestations of diseases affecting various systems.
- Evaluate & Red Team: Critically assess the strengths and weaknesses of AI models in understanding and applying biomedical knowledge. Develop challenging test cases to identify potential biases, safety risks, and gaps in the model's reasoning capabilities.
About You
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biomedicine, Biology, Genetics, Pharmacology, or a closely related field, OR an MD degree with a strong research background.
- Exceptional understanding of core biomedical principles and concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for leveraging AI to advance biomedical research and healthcare.
