We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Client Supply Department at Labcorp. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving customer issues, processing orders, tracking shipments, and providing exceptional support through multiple channels. This role requires proficiency in using various databases and software applications to ensure client satisfaction and efficient service delivery. This position will work with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients and internal customers to ensure that all client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The Customer Service Support Representative will provide product education and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Customer Service and motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company.

Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Work Location: Raritan, NJ

Job Responsibilities

Customer Support:

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly via phone, email, web, and online chat.
  • Provide accurate information regarding product availability and order status.
  • Assist customers with placing orders and ensure accurate data entry.

Order Management and Support:

  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
  • Prioritize, process, and prepare orders efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and provide order status to the clients.
  • Help on the production floor based on business needs.

Shipment Tracking:

  • Track and provide updates on the status of shipped packages.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to delayed or lost shipments.
  • Communicate with shipping carriers to resolve tracking discrepancies.

Research and Problem Solving:

  • Conduct research to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Utilize multiple databases and software tools to find solutions.
  • Document and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments for further investigation.

Communication:

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers at all times.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved.
  • Collaborate with team members within the office, warehouse and other departments to enhance customer service experience

Ad Hoc Requests:

  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned based on business needs.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Experience working in a customer service / call center environment is preferred
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Prior healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or a hospital highly is a plus
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable
  • Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts and adhoc tasks depending on business needs
