Our journey began in 1949 as Kuok Brothers, a small family business in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, trading essential commodities like rice, sugar, and wheat flour. Guided by the enduring values of our founder, Robert Kuok, our corporate culture is built on a foundation of perseverance, loyalty, and integrity above all else. This ethos has been the cornerstone of our growth as we expanded our presence across the region, establishing our Singapore office in 1953 and our Hong Kong office, Kerry Holdings, in 1974. Our logo, inspired by the crane, is a symbol deeply rooted in Chinese culture, representing fidelity, grace, and longevity—qualities that we strive to embody in all our endeavors. Our portfolio is extensive and includes world-class businesses in Properties and Real Estate, such as Kerry Properties and Allgreen Properties; premier Hospitality with the Shangri-La Group; comprehensive Logistics through KLN; and significant interests in Food & Agribusiness with Wilmar International and FFM Berhad. Our Maritime division includes industry leaders like Pacific Carriers Limited (PCL) and PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH).
