Nature of Work:

The Sr. Graphic Artist in Outdoor Sportsman Group’s (OSG) marketing organization is a key creative professional that implements the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network and MyOutdoorTV brands across print and digital mediums. This is a critical role as it is the branding engine and key driver of success with both B2C and B2B audiences.

This Sr. Graphic Artist position is full-time role working daily in a team approach with the Creative Director and Art Director on a variety of projects and assignments. The ideal candidate is proactive with well-developed critical thinking skills and can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner. We are open to remote candidates.

Examples of work performed:

• Creates unique, high-end, high-impact marketing pieces including but not limited to print campaigns, both static and animated web banners, logos, posters, PPT decks, signage, premiums, and all collateral.
• Provides conceptual input for marketing projects.
• Ensures brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
• Completes projects with creativity and attention to detail.
• Pushes the envelope creatively by seeking innovative ways to promote the brands.
• Communicates effectively and regularly to develop concepts.
• Identifies photos for marketing projects.
• Organizes, catalogues, and maintains online image library of shows/talent/relevant brand assets.
• Participates in creative brainstorming sessions, offering ideas, feedback, and insight.
• Proofreads all projects, aiming for an error-free final product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Keeps up to date with industry developments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  2. 5 years design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Experience with large and small Deck Design in PowerPoint
  5. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate and PowerPoint in a Mac environment.
  6. Strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions.
  7. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Preferred
  1. Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate and PowerPoint in a Mac Environment.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for communication
  3. Proficient in designing both large and small PowerPoint desk design.

Compensation:

• Base salary range $60,000 - $68,000 per annum
