Nature of Work:

• Scout, and maintain a network of contacts in North America, especially within the American soccer pyramid and US and Canadian youth levels, for the purpose of delivering recruitment targets to the club’s Director of Scouting and Sporting Director.

Examples of work performed:

• Watch video of and attend matches in North America.
• Identify players that are in line with the club’s strategic goals.
• Attend Rapids 1st team training sessions to ensure appropriate benchmarking of players.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Typical office conditions
• Travel domestically and abroad
• Stand and walk 1/3 to 2/3 of time.
• Sit up to 1/3 of time.
• Talk or hear 2/3 or more of time.
• Moderate to loud noise.
• Outdoor weather conditions 2/3 of time.
• Clear vision at 20”, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum
  1. High School or GED
  2. 4+ years’ experience in field
  3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

• Preferred
  1. Certification or soccer licensure either as a coach or in talent identification
  2. US Soccer B license or equivalent

Compensation

• Base $75,000 per annum
